One word: Heart
And I mean the band. With those goddesses of pop-rock we all secretly loved sooner or later. This band has injected me with musical spirits that are unrivalled to this day. I mean, I think I was 10 when I first heard Magic Man. Then came the spellbinding Crazy On You, the guitar and the voice! Ouch! And then Barracuda, with that stereo-mix.. well.. it was just too late after that To think I thought it was pretty normal back then, to be this good, as a band, to create ballads like Say Hello, Treat Me Well, Cry To Me and the stunningly beautiful Alone, not to mention the unexpectedly strong All I Wanna Do Is Make Love To You. How can you beat vocals, guitars, drums, arrangements and song-writing like that? Solid as a rock. They don’t make ’em like that anymore (must be gettin’ old..).

And people wonder why I like Canada.
