Debating the causes of global warming is now irrelevant, the only debate of any worth is 'How badly is the earth f'd and how much longer will it be before we have catastrophic warming'? It's too late to stop things now. How to have it evolve without overly violent painful behavior along the way? We don't want powerful 'leaders' to resort to nuclear attacks 'because it doesn't matter anymore', or ideas like that to take hold of humanity. We don't have to end without dignity, we can arrange a peaceful demise, if only politicians would be prepared to see that's the only way to go. Honestly, I'd advise against more procreation a.s.a.p. That way we could plan for a decent civilized end-scenario, instead of resource depleted migratory disasters taking over day to day life. I doubt it will be possible, but one can dream.
