I'm eight years too late with this, because (just like James experienced) nobody told me that Flexi-Discs ceased production in 2000. For those who might not remember, Flexi-Discs were records pressed on thin, flexible vinyl. I don't know of any monaural phonographic record players, this is the way it always sounded (for me). It isn't really monaural, the mics are stereo, the scratches are all hyper-stereo, the bumping in the end is stereo. Plus, to be honest;
I like the (stereo) distortion! This way it sounds more how people will remember it. I could also filter out all the cracks and pops in the beginning and ending, but that would kind of defeat the purpose, don't you think? Changing it (in any way) was not my intention with this video.
Last but not least; It was just a fun experiment, using my logitech webcam (it does that weird face-tracking by itself), and to get stereo on YouTube..
