Snap From Daily Life

Oh my dear advertiser, how long will it take for you to understand and realize THOSE STUPID POP-UP WINDOWS DON'T WORK!? They are so annoying and useless, a total waste of internet bandwidth, nobody in their right mind will read the pop-ups, in fact, advertising there will have the wrong effect: People will - unconsciously - grow feelings of hate towards your product or your company. Trust me: Pop-up windows and splash-screens on the web have no effect. Everybody skips them and clicks them away immediately. Exiting pop-up-screens is like a new game: See who's fastest.

Now that I carry my FUJI-cam everywhere I go, on the left is my favorite supermarket :

Yeah yeah, I know: AH!? Your favorite?? Junkies always seem to be getting their dope in front of the store, parking your bike is like a cat-and-mouse game, but inside it's simply the coolest of its kind. Especially the women that work there, there's always at least one you can fall in love with instantly ;-) This supermarket must have the best paid cashiers in Amsterdam.
You also see the towers of Magna Plaza in all their glory, and this is only 5 minutes from where I live. -->

As you may have noticed, I was not very happy with the menu on the left, so I made a final choice and put the best top-navigation menu out there in my site today. While watching Tom Green with one eye, I coded the menu into the site. Just know that most links are not what they should be, most pages onsite are in a stage of development, but we're getting there. Now that the menu is here to stay I'm sure the rest will soon follow. I can call it from every page onsite, which is very handy.

Check this out: 2600 had registered www.fuckgeneralmotors.com and now they're getting sued by Ford for pointing this domain to ford.com, geez, for fuck's sake, some rich company people need to get laid or something!

We're having real hot summer night city temperatures here these days, and I need to get up real early for the radio-job tomorrow, so I'll stop here...

As you can see, the top-menu has disappeared, and a new fascinating thing on the left-side... It's experimental DHTML and java stuff, and I'm reasonably happy with the style now, it kinda 'shivers', or at least with Internet Explorer it does. Only thing I should do about it is to get the links to be organized and shortened, the menu is way too large now. Anyway, it works in almost any browser and it is at least half the size (in bytes) of the previous menu. Little things about it will change over time, we'll see what happens.

Don't feel like writing much today, I have been writing too much for others already, and I still don't know if I like to type or not. I should get out more often, exercise more, eat healthier, clean up my life, and I should get jobs that pay more, do more with music etc. etc.
